eco.mont – Journal on protected mountain areas research and management was founded as a joint initiative of the Alpine Network of Protected Areas (ALPARC), Interacademic Commission for Alpine Studies (ICAS) which is part of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences, the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and the University of Innsbruck.
eco.mont is available by open access from the Austrian Academy Press (a registered Romeo Green Publisher) and in a printed version from Innsbruck University Press.
eco.mont is registered in the Science Citation Index Web of Science.
eco.mont is registered in the Directory of Open Access Journals.
