For peer-reviewed publication, eco.mont considers research articles, review articles, brief communications, comments & replies, and corrigenda. eco.mont also publishes solicited book reviews. Papers submitted to eco.mont can address different techniques and approaches including theory, modelling, experiments, case studies, and instrumentations.
For easier navigation the articles in eco.mont are divided into categories. Peer-reviewed scientific articles make up one major section (Scientific articles). In addition the issue includes a section on management and policy issues (Management & policy report), presentations of individual protected areas (Case in Point), a section devoted to news about protected area aspects (News) and reviews of relevant publications (Book Review).
